The app I am going to review is called Remind 101. This is an app designed for teachers to easily communicate with their students or parents to fill them in on things happening at the school, homework assignments, test dates, etc. I think this app would be most appropriate for children starting in junior high through high school. Usually students have more classes starting in 6th grade and need help remembering everything. This app lets each teacher send out a mass message to all the students and/or parents about any important information going on at the school. I used Remind 101 in high school, and it was a major help for me to get things turned in on time and to make sure I studied for all of my upcoming tests. If I used Remind 101 in my classroom, I would use it for my students’ parents. I plan to teach kindergarten, so my students will not have cell phones, but I could have each of their parents sign up so that I could send them messages about what is going on in my classroom. The Remind 101 app can be downloaded for use on any Apple or Android device.
